Family Camp

From worship first thing in the morning, through every exciting camp activity during the day, to campfire at night, we’re here to bring you all closer to each other and to God. You and your kids can fill your days doing great camp stuff together: the water slide at the pond, horseback riding, go-karts, any part of the challenge course that you have the guts to try, swimming, archery and all the rest. In addition, look at all the fun that’s planned just for Family Camp.

Big Kid Fun

White Water Rafting is available for one day only. Join experienced guides from Rock-N-Water (a Christian camp in Coloma) in running Class 3 rapids on the Upper American River. This exciting day requires advance sign-up (see application form) and costs an additional $92 per person. Your children need to be at least 10 years old (and between 10-12 their participation is at the guide’s discretion). Limit: 8

RC Airplanes are new for Family Camp this summer. We’ve got all the stuff you’ll need if you want to give radio-controlled planes a try. And if you’re a pro, you’re welcome to bring your own equipment.

Learning with Ron will take you on treks around camp to learn more about God through His creation. You may choose to join Ron Ritterskamp, science teacher at Sacramento Adventist Academy, on two adventures during the week.

Watercolor Painting is your chance to try your hand at depicting this beautiful place God has given us. Join Woody Ross for a session each morning––one for adults and one for kids.

Kids Only Activites

(AKA Childcare)
Got little ones? We offer great, supervised activities designed just for kids under six during parts of each day except Sabbath. Drop them off
as much or as little as you choose. It’s all included in your fun fee.

Lodging

Meadow View Inn (previously known as Meadow Lodge) rooms have two queen beds, private baths (with new flooring), linens and air conditioning––but let us do the cooking. Cabins sleep up to eight people in bunk beds, have private baths and small kitchenettes. You’ll need to bring linens and any cooking utensils. Camp sites are available for tent camping or RVs (many have full hook-ups). You’ll have access to rest rooms with showers and laundry facilities.

Meal Options

While you’re welcome to cook for yourselves (in the cabins or camp sites), we can save you the time and hassle. Most family campers opt to join us for the three delicious, vegetarian meals each day––and give Mom a break.

Your one-time fun fee covers all activities except white water rafting.
